Summer and Fall Update

Here it is - July already and regular classes are over for the summer at Heart's Delight.  However, I've had a number of requests for some classes in the summer so have scheduled several Monday evenings (6:30 - 9:30) and Wednesday morning drop in sessions (9-noon) for those who want to finish up projects and who like to paint in the summer.

Dates for Monday evenings are:
    July 7, August 4, 11, 18, & 25

Dates for Wednesday mornings are:
    July 9 & 30, ugust 13, 20 & 27

My open house and marathon painting day on July 1st went well - the sun was shining so we had lunch on the deck and projects were being finished up left and right - "done" is our favorite word at Heart's Delight.

I'll be having another marathon day on August 4th which is the Monday of the long weekend.  Classes are 9-noon, 1-4 and 6:30-9:30.  Painters are welcome to join us for any or all of the 3 hour segments and the cost is $15 for each one.  The main focus for some will be Christmas ornaments and I should have the new "Quick & Easy" Christmas issue by then.  And of course some gals will finish up old projects and some may want to begin new ones.

Fall classes have been selected and can be found on the calendar.  We'll be starting with an Open House on September 6th where everyone will get a chance to try out some of the new Decoart products, have a cup of coffee and a sweet, shop a little and or course sign up for classes.

In the meantime I'm going to Eureka to paint with JoSonja again - a design class this time and I'm very excited because she just has so much knowledge to share - and does that with style and grace.
