Open class, however, once in a while the group picks a project and paint it together - possibilities are endless - beginners welcome!

One project I'd love to teach is this Ros Stallcup piece - done on either a 12x12 canvas or a window topper this piece is one of four that compliment each other and are from her new book - Gran's Gallery.

First Up will be the Scarecrow Jar Topper - perfect for fall.  Photo to follow.

Every Other Tuesday Evening
6:30 – 9:30, Project Class
Commencing September 22, 2009
Class Fee $18.
Students pick the project or technique and I paint the sample and instruct the class.

First up - beginner oil painting - done on an 11x14 canvas this is a chance to dabble in oil without making a big investment.  This can easily be done in 3 hours and uses only 2 brushes and 2 colors.  Deb Harrop will be instructing this class.

Next Up - It's a Wrap - design by Gladys Nielson
This fun design is painted on a 10"x60" fleece scarf - you purchase the fabric in the color of your choice.  This should be doeable in a 3 hour class.

Thursday Morning – Open Class
9:00 – Noon - Class Fee $16
Commencing September 17, 2009
Students pick the project - or paint one of their choice.

Holly Bear - design by Jamie Mills Price
this is on the front cover of Christmastime Vol. 6
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Class Fee $48
This design would work well on an 8x10, or 9x12 surface - an oval, rectangle or plaque.  I apologize for the photo - I haven't had the chance to paint it yet but it really is darling.
Bring your lunch on full painting days.

Tuesday, November 17 - Memory Box Night
Come out and paint a memory box to be donated to the Royal Alex Hospital for someone who has lost a child.  No charge for the class but a donation of $3 would be apprecited to go towards the purchase of more boxes.  Here's the line drawing for the next class - I don't know what it will look like yet because I haven't painted it - but you can be sure it will be fun.
