Memory Box Program

There is a group of artists at Heart's Delight who donate their time to paint boxes for grieving families when a child has been lost. Each box is painted with love and a sincere wish to reach out in support and understanding. It is our hope that this brings some small comfort to the family and that they know their child was special and much loved.

Our next memory box night will be held on Tuesday, November 17th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  I've produced a line drawing using part of a photo I've seen combined with daisies - I haven't painted it yet so don't know what it will look like finished - but you can be sure we will love it. 

You don't need to have experience in order to participate.  There is no charge for the class or studio time.  Volunteers paint a box and receive instructions and a line drawing.  The boxes remain with Heart's Delight to be donated to the Royal Alex Hospital for mom's who need them.  All we ask is a donation of $3.00 to go toward the cost of more boxes, and of course you must leave your box behind.  If you'd like to join us on November 17th, or be part of the advance preparation please give me a call at the studio (780)945-0520.
